Patuxent Inn

We were without electricity at our house for several days after the recent snow storm. We spent one night here after repeatedly booking rooms at other hotels through booking sites only to show up and find out those hotels did not have any rooms available. We called this place directly, and the lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is fine for a one star hotel. I would stay here again. The only reasons I didn't give five stars are: they would not hold a room (even for fifteen minutes) for us when we called and said we were on our way - and - our room was on the third floor and there are no elevators, and it was quite difficult for me to traverse three flights of stairs. Overall we were still pretty happy with the experience.

I needed a place to stay before an Army deployment and after turning in my keys to my apartment. If you’re reading this, I was doing the same before I took a shot at Patuxent Inn. The staff at the front desk was friendly and even the cleaning crew respected the Do Not Disturb sign. They even asked me if I needed a clean up when I was walking out of the room but sign still was up. When I stay in a hotel I usually leave the sign up if it’s clean and if the towels are clean and do not need to be replaced with cleaner ones used by me or not. Overall, the room was really clean. I don’t smoke and got a non smoking room and to my surprise there was not a single smell of cigarette smoke. I was surprised because most hotels lie about the room they give you and this one did not. I kept looking around to see if I saw any bug from what I read on some comments from months and/or years ago from the reviews and I saw and felt nothing. No live bugs or dead bugs In the room. I stayed on the first floor facing the field out the window and the room was close to Maryland Route 301. Which is a heavy traffic route and I had no issues from traffic noise. Also, with the shades and curtains covering the window the room was dark with the lights off to the point that I had to check the time to see if it was morning or still night lol. That was perfect. The only improvement would be if they served breakfast but to be honest there’s so many restaurants and diners near this Hotel that you’ll be glad your stay won’t be overly priced compared to other hotels that offer breakfast. There’s a really good local Diner near by that I highly recommend and it’s worth the wait (you’ll see the line). Lastly, if you need a place to stay and not have any issues with staff or issues getting some rest Definitely take a shot like I did on Patuxent Inn. SFC R Room 109 02-04 OCT.

The price for 2 rooms was cheap and affordable. The rooms have recently been renovated and are very nice. The air conditioning cooled us down quite a bit. Very quiet place. The lady at the front desk was very nice ans made our stay even more enjoyable. Shout out to the lady that does the over night shift, we loved you and you were so pleasant to us. We will reccomend our family and friends to stay here.

Kia & Asia, fantastic customer service, at the front desk. The room was immaculate. Very clean and had everything I needed. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. I can't wait to stay there again. Thanks again, Kia & Asia, you rock!

Everything was completely awesome!! The staff were all awesome and so friendly and our room was very clean and it was very affordable. Not one problem at all with the room or booking it and the next time we come back this is where we will stay!

The room was good for the price. The receptionist was kind, the jaccuzi was amazing it fit two adults perfectly, the room was smoking and didn't smell of smoke. That's a PLUS! There are alot of conveniences in the area. There are alot of UBER eats options as well. The only negatives: need more lighting, TV was a bit difficult to work, shower pressure low, bed hard, stopper in jacuzzi needs replacing, mirror is still cracked near jacuzzi but no big deal for us. We will be back again.

Very pleasant little hotel. The staff is friendly and nice . The rooms are great for the price. Good internet and a nice TV, I read all the previous reviews from many months ago and they have updated and listened to the customers. I work on the road and this is a great place to stay if you're working locally or just need a place to stay for a few nights , highly recommend

I have to say the owners have turned this hotel around for the better. I feel safe and comfortable here. The housekeepers are amazing and very nice. The owners are exceptional people that are always working to keep this hotel safe, quiet, and friendly. The rooms are very affordable and clean. Best place to stay for a night or a week for a great price.
